Charles-Edouard Jeanneret was a Swiss architect and designer to whom we pay homage with our retro reproduction take on his famed LC3 GRANDE. With a career which spanned some fifty years or so he was and still is arguably the most prolific modernist style furniture designer of the 20th century. His style was one of merging the classic designs with a twist of the modern, as can be seen from our reproduction example here which is typical of his work. The LC3 GRANDE and is a stunning example of what was to become a revered style within the entire modernist movement of the 20th century.
The name Charles Le Corbusier is only used to describe the characteristics of the goods made to the original design, and not as a trade mark.
